Causes & Symptoms for Dr. Reckeweg Hydrastis Canadensis

• Hydrastis is indicated in complaints of defective assimilation, nasal catarrh, slow digestion. It increases muscular strength and powers of endurance, in chronic, incurable diseases.
• Catarrhal symptoms, which has viscid, thick, yellow mucus in long strings sometimes white that cause itching.
• Tenacious discharge from nose, eyes, ear is treated well with this homeopathic remedy. Action of this remedy is on the mucous membrane of nose, throat, stomach and vagina.
• The remedy is useful in fissures around the mouth, with white coated tongue is useful in complaints relieved with help of Hydrastis.

Mind:

• Hydrastis is useful in complaints of forgetfullness, irritability, and patient who suffer from pain.

Skin:

• Complaints with itching, redness, heat,pustular eruptions and tingling sensation which is aggravted by touch, motion is reduced with help of Hydrastis canadensis

Anaemia; lack of appetite, especially among children; often accompanied by swellings. After-effects of acute ailments. All kinds of anaemia frequently induced by the new toxicant effect of the medication of other illnesses.

Mode of Action of Main Ingredients in Dr. Reckeweg R31

The therapeutic action is twofold; it is directed towards the liver through the excitation of the fermenting system of the liver (China and Lycopodium), and towards the marrow through a selective excitation (Ferrum chloratum). Arsen. jodatum has a beneficient effect on cellular metabolism. This means that the action extends to the blood-producing system and this is further heightened by the effect of Lycopodium on the functioning of the spleen as energised by Ceanothus americanus. The action of the remedy already becomes noticeable after the very first few days of the medication; it translates as increased appetite and higher number of haematites, without involving the organism into any excess. There will be no accumulation of fat. Homoeopathic medicines always work in a non-toxic and harmonizing way. • General rule: 3 times a day 10-15 drops in a little water before meals. During the first days of medication, in case of pronounced anaemia, frequent doses, eventually 6-10 times daily 10-15 drops of  Dr. ReckewegR31. On noting improvement, lower the dose to 2-3 times a day. It is important not to stuff children with chocolate, sweets and eggs, as the overwork the liver and lowers the appetite.
• Recommended food for children: milk puddings, oats flakes, vegetables and fruit. Meat is viewed as a complementary food whilst pork in any form: bacon, sausages, ham etc. will be avoided.
• This also applies to anaemic adults.
